# Do not sell or share my personal information

**Faction Community, LLC does not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising** — the two practices the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) lets you opt out of. There is no opt-out form on this page because there is nothing to opt out of.

## What this means in practice

- We do not exchange personal information for money or other valuable consideration.
- We do not share personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics resellers.
- We do not embed third-party trackers, ad pixels, or behavioral-targeting SDKs in the marketing site or the Faction product. See transparency for the verifiable version of this claim.
- We do not enable cross-context behavioural advertising (CCPA §1798.140(ah)).

## What we do collect and process

Account data and product metadata required to operate the service — enumerated on the [transparency page](/transparency) and detailed in the [privacy policy](/privacy). Message bodies in end-to-end encrypted channels are stored as ciphertext only and cannot be read by us.

## Your CCPA / CPRA rights still apply

California residents retain the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these, email [legal@faction.chat](mailto:legal@faction.chat?subject=CCPA%20Request) with subject `CCPA Request`. We will verify the request through your account email and respond within 45 days, as required by §1798.130.

## Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. Include a signed permission and a copy of identifying documentation. We will verify your identity directly before acting.
